ERACS Support Information
Training
ERA offers ERACS training on-site or at ERA's training facility at its
offices in Leatherhead. ERA structures the courses to suit customer's
needs and training staff are very happy to discuss individual requirements
and tailor courses appropriately. Training can be provided for small groups
or on a one-to-one basis. Members of the ERACS development team conduct
training with input from ERA resident power system engineers where appropriate.
Updates
ERA is continually enhancing the ERACS suite and provides typically three
upgrades per year. Users with a maintenance contract in place receive
these upgrades free of charge. ERA is always very pleased to hear from
users with ideas for future enhancement and recognises their past support
in the development of the suite.
Maintenance Contract
The ERACS suite is constantly being developed and enhanced with new facilities
and options. Therefore, following the first 12 month period ERA recommends
the purchase of a maintenance contract, which will give access to the
ERACS 'hotline' services which include program updates.
Software Support
During the first 12 month period customers can use the ERACS 'hotline'
service by telephone, e-mail or fax free of charge. This service also
includes free updates including additional facilities etc. by internet
download, e-mail or CD.
Specialist AVR and Governor
Modelling
Using the universal dynamic modeling program ERA is able to produce almost
any type of AVR / governor provided that a block diagram representation
of the control system is available.ERA has extremely close ties with GE
and has produced validated models of the LM2500, LM6000PA and LM6000PC
gas turbines.
Diagram Building and Data
Entry
For existing and new users of ERACS ERA offers a service whereby its experienced
engineers will populate an ERACS database and create the associated single
line diagram representing the users electrical power system. ERA will
then provide the users with the ERACS databases enabling them to view,
modify and run system studies on the completed network model.
Power System Studies
ERA's highly experienced power systems staff can also assist with or undertake
power systems studies (including loadflow, fault, harmonics, system stability
and protection co-ordination), on-site power quality investigations, lightning
protection studies and failure analysis investigations.
Distributors
ERA is continually looking to extend its network of ERACS distributors
and welcomes contact from interested parties.
