What's New
New study on routes to compliance with
RoHS Directive The RFA Group at ERA has just completed a study for the
UK's Department of Trade and Industry. The RoHS Directive bans the sale of many
electrical products in the EU from July 2006. This study focuses on practical
measures to enable producers to conform with the RoHS Directive principally; self
declaration, formats for reporting compliance and analytical methods. The report
also critically appraises the possible meanings being attached to "homogeneous
materials" and their implications for product design and environmental impact. |

devices and equipment. Ion chromatography provides an ideal method to pinpoint
the source of contamination, understand the mechanism of failure and so avoid
future problems. | | |
