ERA Technology, a part of the Cobham Avionics and Surveillance Division of Cobham plc, has delivered 50 radar sub-systems to Vallon GmbH in Germany to meet the orders for dual sensor landmine detectors. Demand for the leading edge MINEHOUND VMR2 detector is increasing as many countries, after successful trials, are now adopting this detector as a means of radically improving the efficiency of landmine clearance operations as well as improving the detection of minimum metal mines. The MINEHOUND VMR2 is an advanced technology product, which combines leading-edge ground penetrating radar and a high-performance metal detector.
