ERA Technology, a part of the Cobham Avionics and Surveillance Division, is pleased to announce that a new two-year contract has been signed with ND SatCom, an SES ASTRA company, for the supply of advanced satellite communications antennas.

t ERA's high performance diamond antenna is integrated into ND Satcom's SkyRAY Satellite News Gathering system for mobile broadcast applications.

The contract covers the supply of ERA’s high performance diamond antennas for integration with ND SatCom’s civil and military satellite communications systems.

The ERA diamond antenna is one of the key components in ND SatCom’s SkyRAY antenna subsystems, which are integrated into Satellite News Gathering vehicles for broadcasters and mobile communication vans for government and enterprise customers. Johann Pohany, CTO of ND SatCom, states: “The cooperation with ERA supports us in the delivery of high-quality mobile satellite solutions. We use ERA’s antennas in our SkyRAY series as we consider them as the most technologically advanced in the market.”

ERA’s rugged multi-band flyaway diamond antennas are used by ND SatCom Defence to provide superior communications performance to defence forces, with a range of systems currently operational worldwide.
