A new version of ERACS, ERA's suite of electrical power systems analysis software has just been released (v3.6.0). Among the many new features, ERACS now includes a ‘Protection Analyser’ - a first for power systems software. The Analyser quickly evaluates the entire electrical network model and reports on areas where circuit protection is missing, incorrectly set or inappropriately located.

The Protection Analyser will save ERACS users considerable time in identifying anomalies in new and existing protection schemes, leading to increased system safety, reliability and cost-saving.
