| ERA’s Major Hazards Offshore and Onshore Conference will be held at the Marriott Hotel in Regents Park, London, on 8-9 December 2004.
Hazards associated with working in explosive atmospheres apply whether the installation is offshore or onshore. Safety is paramount and the effects of failure are unacceptable to business and communities alike. This year’s conference shares methodologies and experiences in both environments, providing a forum to review a range of risk mitigation approaches.
This well established conference, now in its 13th year, offers case study based presentations from a range of organisations, including: GexCon AS, HSE, AMEC, KBR, Thales Group, DNV Consulting, HSL, Scandpower Risk Management, Entec UK, Safetec Nordic, Statoil AS and Petrell AS. The programme covers topics such as explosion resistant design, structural integrity, fire containment, gas dispersion, RF hazards and accident management. The conference also offers the opportunity to participate in an interactive session based on the exploration of a more holistic approach to managing major accident hazards (courtesy of BP).
The associated exhibition has proved highly successful for companies wishing to promote new products and services to offshore and onshore industries. Confirmed bookings for this year’s exhibition have already been received from GexCon AS, ComputIT and Century Dynamics.
