Dr Ray Houlgate joins ERA as Senior Consultant in Power Transmission Networks
	In-depth knowledge of overhead transmission networks

Ray Houlgate has joined ERA Technology Ltd as a Senior Consultant in Power Transmission Networks from October 21st. Ray worked for the UK’s National Grid organization for many years in a variety of senior roles. His special areas of expertise include managing transmission networks in a regulated environment and extensive experience of overhead line transmission networks.

Ray is currently Chairman of the IEC SC36M committee on insulators for overhead lines. He stated: 'I am delighted to be joining ERA a company which has worked in electrical engineering even further back than the establishment of the National Grid itself. I particularly look forward to using my experience to assist a variety of organizations both in the UK and worldwide'.
