System Safety Engineers
The System Safety Engineering & Assurance team at ERA Technology has successfully secured a number of prestigious, long term contracts. Building upon a strong team foundation, vacancies often exist for dedicated, experienced and high calibre system safety and assurance engineers and consultants within our key core sectors; transport (primarily rail), defence (air), and process/utilities sector (incorporating energy, oil and gas etc).
Ideally applicants should be within commuting distance of Leatherhead in Surrey or alternatively home based applicants will be considered.
Successful candidates will have a strong background in system safety, hazard and risk methodologies (appropriate qualifications with Chartered experience is preferred although all applicants with a demonstrated experience will be considered).
Good entrant qualifications with some experience will be considered for engineering posts required to support our planned growth and development within the team.
Ideal individuals will exhibit strong communication skills being able to work on their own initiative, as a team player and when necessary technically lead tasks and or manage projects. All staff are required to deliver a wide range of related engineering disciplines which encompass all aspects of the system safety engineering and assurance lifecycle. Ideal candidates will also have project management and/or new business development experience.
Vacancies exist for:
- Rail (including overseas projects which could involve travel)
- Process, oil & gas and energy sectors (IEC 61508 experience)
We are also very interested in receiving CVs from applicants with established experience in delivering MoD safety programmes (especially air safety).
