Conference Overview

ERA Technology has been organising successful environmental conferences for over 10 years. The 2008 conference will focus on electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) and 'energy using products' (EuP) and the growing mass of complex requirements which they are subject to, arising from environmental regulation changes in the supply chain.

Expert speakers from regulatory bodies, legal practices, product manufacturers and distributors from around the world will come together to present the very latest developments of the key environmental legislation, including REACH, EuP, RoHS, WEEE and Batteries legislation.

The conference will provide overviews and policy updates of each directive or regulation, present reviews from different industry perspectives, and detail the progress of the directives since they entered force into the UK and EU Member States. The developments of environmental product legislation around the globe, including the US and China will also be reviewed. Case studies from industry leaders will showcase best practice in meeting the many challenges faced by manufacturers and distributors today.
